Measuring Integrity

Quality control management is at the heart of Diversified's mission to deliver a product that is critical to your success.

Quality Lab

Our inspection process occurs in a precision, temperature controlled quality lab to ensure the integrity of the
measurement data. Without temperature control its nearly impossible to certify measurement results.

Standards

Our quality management program is documented and based on the ISO 9001:2008 standard. We have
extensive experience working to the ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
standard as well as specific customer standards.

Calibration

All inspection tools and gages are maintained within a periodic calibration program with all gage calibrations
traceable to NIST.

Zeiss Contura G2 CMM

With active scanning and the superior accuracy our Zeiss Contura G2, CMM
represents the state of the art in measurement technology. Instead of simply
taking a few random probe hits as found in the more common touch technology, active scanning allows for hundreds or even thousands of measurements from a feature. Often scanning is just as fast or faster than touch technology. This results in a much more accurate and complete representation of the feature being measured.

With off-line cmm programing and extensive use of solid models while programming, we are able to create cost effective and efficient measurement
plans and programs.

Quality Policy

Diversified Tooling Corporation has always been organized so that our Quality Management
Department takes complete responsibility and control of a project, starting with the quoting
process and continuing until the products are packaged for shipment. Production works under
the Quality Department with the common goal of producing the highest quality products possible.

Prior to starting production we create process and inspection plans that address the unique
challenges of each project. Our process plan is created to optimize the quality and efficiency of
the process. For example, by designing critical features in a single process step we eliminate the
possibility of error that may be introduced if the features were designed across multiple steps.

The inspection plan starts with a first article, followed by an in process inspection that takes in
consideration the inherent accuracy of the equipment and focuses on the areas of the process
where an error is most likely to occur. A complete final inspection is preformed prior to shipment.

From our temperature controlled quality lab to periodic calibration of our inspection tools, we lead the way in highly accurate testing of your design models. Diversifed's inspection plans are created to address each client's project, so you can be sure your product meets the highest standards with efficient and superior results.
